The design and style of Kia EV3
Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy can be seen on the outside of the Kia EV3, which has a modern, sharp look and the unique “Star Map” LED lighting signature.
Exterior: The most important design elements are a closed-off front grille, flush door handles on the front doors, and a sloping top. Types in the GT-Line line get a sportier look with gloss black exterior accents and rare metal wheels.
Inside: The inside is simple and roomy, with eco-friendly materials like recycled cloth and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) used throughout. A two-tiered, adjustable trunk floor and a useful moving centre console table make the car even more useful.
Performance and how well it works
All Kia EV3 models are driven by a single electric motor in the front that makes 150 kW and 283 Nm of torque.
Speed: It takes the EV3 7.5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h.
Driving modes: The car has an improved i-Pedal 3.0 one-pedal driving mode with regenerative braking levels that can be changed. It also has a “auto” mode that changes the way it brakes based on traffic.
Efficiency: The EV3 has a low drag coefficient of 0.263 Cd, which helps explain why it has such a long driving range.
Charging and the battery
There are two battery choices for the EV3, and both have a 400-volt electrical system.
Normal Price Range: The WLTP-approved range of a 58.3 kWh battery is 436 km. It takes 29 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% on a 350 kW DC fast charger.
Long-Term: The WLTP range for the 81.4 kWh battery is 604 km for the Air model and 563 km for the Earth and GT-Line models. A 350 kW DC fast charger can charge it from 10% to 80% in 31 minutes.
V2L Functionality: All models have Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, which lets the car run electronics outside of the car.

Tech and benefits (for the Australian market)

Premium features: A head-up display, an eight-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a sunroof, and “relaxation” front seats that lay almost flat are just a few of the high-end features that can be found in different trim levels.
