The Hyundai Casper Electric is a small electric crossover city car with five doors that was made by Hyundai for the South Korean market. The EV was first shown at the Busan International Mobility Show in June 2024. It is based on the gasoline-powered Hyundai Casper but has been slightly stretched out to make more room inside and fit a bigger battery.
Cost
After government incentives, the Casper Electric is Hyundai’s least expensive EV.
- Prices Start at:ย In South Korea, prices begin at around 31.5 million won (KRW) in early 2025, before any government refunds.
- The price with subsidies is:ย A standard model can be bought for as little as 20โ23 million KRW thanks to subsidies from the national and local governments. This makes it a very competitive choice on the Korean market.
- The tough, off-road-style Casper Electric Cross came out in February 2025 and cost 31.9 million KRW.

There are different versions of the Casper Electric, such as a regular model and a more rugged “Cross” version.

Outside features
- Design:ย The electric Casper is based on the fuel Casper, but it has a different grille with pixelated parts, unique alloy wheels and full LED headlights.
- Size increase:ย The Hyundai Casper Electric is a little bigger and more useful than the gasoline-powered version because its length and wheels are longer.
- Casper Electric Cross:ย This version has a roof rack, black body panels, unique wheels, and a back bumper design that looks like pixels.
Inside and technology
The Hyundai Casper Electric’s inside is practical and up-to-date, with a focus on making the most of the room in its small footprint.
- Room:ย The flat EV floor, fold-flat seats, and tall roofline make the cabin as roomy and flexible as possible.
- Infotainment:ย There is a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen in the middle that has navigation.
- Lighting:ย The bedroom has 64-color LED lighting that is used for ambient lighting.
- Cargo:ย The rear seats can be moved and folded flat to make the trunk room bigger. It can hold between 238 and 351 litres of things.
- Comfort:ย Top-level options come with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel for added comfort.
- Interior Styling:ย The inside of the Hyundai Casper Electric Cross has unique two-tone leather, and the bottoms of the seats match the green paint on the outside.
- Safety:ย The car has a number of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, such as smart speed control and systems that help the driver avoid accidents.
